| C.A.T.S. has a number of awards which are presented at the end of every spring show and pantomime to members involved in the production in recognition of their efforts. All of these prizes are presented at after-show parties and the winners are determined by a ballot of the members. | ||

Janetta McCafferty Award |

This is C.A.T.S. longest standing award. It is given in memory of Janetta McCafferty who was a member of C.A.T.S. until 1996 when she sadly passed away. Janetta was a bright and funny personality who is fondly remembered by the older members as a lady who told jokes, supported all the other members and generally made the productions a great place to be. The ‘Janetta’ award is awarded to a member of cast or crew of a production who is felt to have brought the characteristics of Janetta to the show. |

Best Newcomer. This award was introduced in 2003 and is presented to a new member who the people involved in a particular production feel has contributed a huge amount, produced an excellent performance or who has made great progress as a performer. |

|
Most Improved. This award was also introduced in 2003 and is presented to any member of cast or crew who members feel has made great progress in their particular role in production.
